ENHANCED QUALITY ASSURANCE
The largest investment of a lifetime should stand the test of time. You can put aside fears of obsolescence with Zero Energy Ready Home. That’s because advanced technology innovations and building systems, meet and exceed forthcoming energy codes. As a result, you’re investing in a home of the future and not the past. Every Zero Energy Ready Home comes with added peace-of-mind that your largest investment of a lifetime was held to industry-leading quality standards.
EPA INDOOR AIR PLUS
Indoor Air Plus helps new builders improve the Indoor Air Quality of their homes, by requiring construction practices and product specifications, which minimize exposure to airborne pollutants and contaminants. The composite wood products, interior paints, finishes, carpets, and carpet adhesives, used within an Indoor Air Plus qualified construction, is what sets a Zero Ready Younger Home apart. As we strive to improve air quality and overall health, our homes use GREENGUARD Gold certified alternatives, which are low in VOCs, produced with moisture-resistant adhesives, and reduce formaldehyde emissions.
LIVES BETTER. WORKS BETTER. LASTS BETTER.
The roof, walls, windows, doors, and foundation combine to form your home’s enclosure. High-Performance Windows use advanced technology to keep heat in during the winter and out during the summer, while brightening your living space all year long. High-Performance Insulation provides a complete thermal blanket that snugly surrounds your home in comfort and quiet. With much lower heating and cooling bills, Comprehensive Draft Protection blocks out dust, pollen, pests, noise, and moisture.
Buying a home is often the largest investment most of us will ever make. Dry-By-Design Construction includes a comprehensive water barrier system, providing peace-of-mind that your home is protected from roof to foundation. Interior Moisture Control provides maximum protection indoors in areas exposed to water, with careful selection of materials and construction details.
Comfort is about more than just a thermostat set-point and a basic HVAC system. High-Efficiency Equipment employs advanced technology and higher-quality components, while delivering lower heating and cooling bills. Professional Installation ensures your comfort system contractor is quality assured and their work is independently checked to industry standards. An Interior Comfort Delivery System locates heating and cooling ducts inside the thermal enclosure, for superior comfort and energy.
With a high-performance enclosure and substantially reduced heating, and cooling requirements, the components inside your home will consume more than half your energy use. High-Efficiency Water Heating saves energy, time, and 1,000’s of gallons of wasted water. High-Efficiency Appliances work better, and often provide significant energy and water savings, while Advanced Lighting delivers great color, lasts for years, and saves substantial energy. High-Efficiency Exhaust Fans not only save energy, but are much quieter when more effectively removing moisture and odors.
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency reports that on average, indoor air contains 2-5 times more contaminants than outdoor air. Contaminant-Resistant Construction uses materials that minimize or eliminate dangerous chemicals, and includes features that block moisture, dust, pollen, and pests. A Fresh Air System ensures adequate outdoor air, to dilute residual contaminants from construction, furnishings, and normal use of your home. High-Capture Filtration Technology effectively removes particles associated with respiratory problems.
Every Zero Energy Ready Home is so energy efficient, it can offset all or most annual energy consumption with renewable energy. Solar Wiring-Ready includes a built-in path to run wiring from the attic to your electric panel, so solar panels can be easily connected with minimal cost and disruption. Being Structural Load-Ready means you can avoid expense to obtain engineering calculations needed to document adequate roof framing strength. Solar Components-Ready ensures you have adequate space and electric panel circuit breakers, to install the components of a complete solar electric system.

The Zero Ready Younger Home process begins with a scheduled Discovery Call. During this time, we will discuss the details of your build, along with your interest in either a fully custom, or semi-custom home, before outlining your architectural plans and pricing options in our Investment Guide.
We will then proceed with your Zero Ready Home selections. Younger Homes currently offers 1 fully developed home, with 6 elevations and 3 design boards for you to choose from. All elevations include the same floor plan, however structural upgrades and modifications to flooring, tile, countertops, and paint can be made.
During the holistic design of the home, clients will have the opportunity to schedule a Design Consultation in our Designer Showroom, where they will be guided by Professional Designer Rachel Farrington, to modify their home. Complete with over 100 selections, clients have the ability to select finishes above or below the suggested allowance. From rainwater collection approved gutters, to the composition of cabinet doors, it is our objective to achieve top sustainability.
OUR FLOOR PLANS
SINGLE STORY HOME
HILL COUNTRY BOLD
Our Hill Country Bold design is distinctively contemporary, utilizing the line as a primary design element. Straight and strong lines are visible in architectural details, open windows, geometric shapes, and striking color blocks. The less is more mantra can be seen throughout, as the negative space in the design becomes equally as important as the individual objects. While modern and sophisticated, this design also connects to the Hill Country, through the use of local materials, and by taking cues from iconic regional architects. Furnishings that work best with this design will be contemporary, undecorated, and abstracted. Interest can be added through pops of bold color or texture, engaging works of art, and solid or two-tone geometric fabrics. The selections clients can make to elevate this package include built-in glass TV cabinets, F&B wallpaper, along with several wood, or paint cabinet finishes.
HILL COUNTRY NATURAL
Inspired by both the history and the landscape of the region, our Hill Country Natural design package features organic forms and patterns, coupled with native stone and wood. A palette of cool blues and earthy greens marries with mid-tone neutrals throughout, for a calm and classic finish. We aim to create a sense of timelessness through material selections that reference the past and present in Hill Country architecture. This design pairs well with a variety of traditional, transitional, or modern furnishings and organic textiles, like cotton canvas, linen, and wool, in patterns or solids. The possibilities to elevate this package include custom steel railings, a natural honed, limestone fireplace, and even a racking 16’ sliding door in the family room.
HILL COUNTRY PURE
Light, clean, and airy, our Hill Country Pure design is all about simplicity. Light woods in natural finishes, a soft white exterior, and a blend of functional, minimal, and beautiful interior materials grace this design. Focal points are created through contrast and texture, while a blend of curving and straight lines draw the eye throughout the space. Transitional, mid-century, or eclectic furnishings all work well with this design, and personality can easily be added through a variety of patterns and colors, if desired. Elevate options for this package include a steel and glass entry door, a vaulted ceiling with exposed beams, as well as dual shower heads in the primary bath.
